A runner up effort from Lenebane at Sedgefield yesterday and a mid-placed finish for Felton Bellevue. Meanwhile in Ireland the result at Fairyhouse again suggested that the Going at many venues there; is akin to genuine summer jumping ground still, so I think all we can do is to tread ever more carefully until some substantial rain arrives in the Emerald Isle, hopefully this weekend.
We've an assortment of Turf Flat; NH and AW Racing today and by far the most competitive Card would appear to be at Chepstow, on Good / Good to Soft Going and we'll attack couple of 18 runner handicaps there.
Today sees the final runner for the legendary trainer Sir Michael Stoute with a runner at Nottingham, one of the legends of the sport in any era and we wish him well; and let's make the celebration of his sporting life and career; a bright spot, on what looks like being a truly depressing day for the Planet.
