The 3.30 at Haydock throws up some very solid form lines with a race at Thirsk (a very similar
left handed track with a long unrelenting straight) between Dutch Artist; Hanseatic and
Trinity Star, throw in a second runner from O'Meara (also runs Dutch Artist) and a Course
specialist in Chosen Character, and you have some tough calculations and other strong
rivals to consider. There is little to chose between Dutch Artist and Trinity Star but at
the weights and looking closely at their last race TRINITY STAR just gets the nod and
should be right in contention at around 8/1. It is impossible to ignore the claims of
CHOSEN CHARACHTER here, especially in the Autumn and off a mark of 77, with a
Claimer up, who has ridden him before the 16/1 early price not only looks too good to
ignore - it also looks over generous, with Paddy Power currently out of line at 9/1.
