Work Watcher - Ascot 4.55 3 Life Less Ordinary - each way @ 6/1 (generally)
In the closing race at 4.55 we see a number of proven stayers who may actually
find this trip a bit on the short side, and some basically out of form horses who
may still be on marks reflecting past, as opposed to present form capabilities.
Life Less Ordinary is probably still to realise its full potential over this trip;
has shown more than enough stamina to see it out and as a "hold up horse"
has a bit of tactical speed, some of the others don't have and in Jamie Spencer;
a rider who excels at Ascot, where is style (oft maligned!) is ideally suited.
Those are the 2 selections for today and I will be adding Fastnet Tempest 2.35
and Hornsby 4.20 in to a small Unit Lucky 15, on a day when the better horses
on show, look more than likely, the ones to prevail.
