Bayard - Cheltenham 2.25 16 As De Mee 8/1 + 8 Buywise 16/1 (Bet Victor + Sky - odds to SIXTH / PP odds to 5th) each way

BAYARD is very sweet on the chances of AS DE MEE in the BV Gold Cup at Cheltenham;
it is a race that often throws up a progressive second season Chaser and the form of the
Nicholls yard looks as strong as ever, he also runs the massively progressive Frodon;
but it seems from everything that PFN has said that this has been the early target for
ADM and maybe Frodon's early Chase form has surprised him hence the entry. A couple
of far more "exposed" horses though appeal at bigger odds, who knows what would
happen if BUYWISE won this, so often a nearly horse, finishing fast and late and he so
deserves a BIG RACE win, every drop of rain that falls will suit him and with luck in

running hard to see him not sneaking in to the first 6 (note 2 bookies paying odds to 6th)

---

We will stick at those for today with plenty more options tomorrow and a quiet word
from me about one of my favourite horses of this era, not a superstar but a game trier
and a beautiful jumper THOMAS CRAPPER in the 2.25 at Cheltenham, a CD winner;
they are trying a tongue tie, the stable had a big price winner yesterday and IF they
go off a yard too fast - would be no surprise at all for me to see this horse run a blinder
at 25/1 (odds to 6) and that would certainly leave a few feeling flush and be no flash
in the pan (you might need to google "Thomas Crapper" if you don't immediately
get the pun there)....
