ANOTHER MATTIE desperately needed it seasonal debut but a look back at past seasons indicates
that he may well come on leaps and bounds for it, and he won second time out last season. A confirmed
mud lover, has performed best here and over just short of this trip and has been crying out to go up
in trip several times. The are obvious dangers with hat trick seeking West of The Edge back over hurdles;
and if Plus Jamais and Tiger Mountain get the trip, they could be well handicapped and unexposed
respectively; but the icing on the cake for the selection is the return of Lucy Alexander, an outstanding
horse woman whose "never give up" attitude, is worth half a stone in these long distance slogs.
We will stick with the one tip again today as to stretch it to two would take us in to the realms of
guess work and tipping for the sake of it, so lets hope for another strong run from a value priced horse.
