We have 2 selections from Hot 2 Trot today and here is the logic-:

SIMMPLY SAM looks excellent value at 5/1 to play as a win bet or to have a place/each way saver;

a Course winner off this handicap mark over further, looks sure to appreciate the conditions and

emphasis on stamina and the latest off the "Easterby conveyor belt" takes off a very handy claim too

and is well worth it, as he has shown considerable promise.

At Plumpton in the opener it is hard to look past the Mulholland and Greatrex horses but 2 miles

in mud will not suit a lot of these who are flat bred / ex flat horses. CLONDAW WESTIE comes

from a Point 2 Point background and has won over 3 miles in mud in that sphere and its form

in beating a horse in Ireland called Vinnie Lewis is most interesting as that one is now rated 114

in the UK and that kind of mark would see Clondaw Westie, competitive here and the NH and

stamina background makes it worth a small punt to nick a place on an otherwise poor day.
