Hot 2 Trot - Sedgefield 2.45 4 Nakadam 5/1 / 6 Master Rajeem 10/1 (Lads/BV) (1/2 point each way each horse)
The 26 Furlong Chase at 2.45 is an intriguing race of its type and you could give a strong
chance to 5 or 6 of them, Johnny Eager would be a very strong contender but may need
this run to get really sharp; Nortonthorpelegend and Total Asset look live dangers but
may not be quite progressive enough at this stage of the season. Bennys Well is intriguing;
Sue Smiths horses are flying, it needed its seasonal debut BUT although it has wo over this
far it has in recent seasons run over shorter, we have a canny thought she might let it
"bowl along" have a really good "blow out" and then be aimed at something over shorter
in 3-4 weeks fully tuned up - we shall see??.
The 2 we really like are NAKADAM who is likely to have benefitted from a prep run;
trip and Going are fine, nice mark and crucially cheekpieces and tongue tip return
and thats usually a big asset for the horse. Master Rajeem usually peaks a bit later
in the season BUT is a Course and Distance winner, nice mark and a couple of
runs should have him spot on for this, and he has scope to improve this season

Now for the Lucky 31, the 2.05 at Lingfield looks to be close between Allchilledout
and Viking Mistress but despite the lack of a run we think Allchilled out will win
The 1.40 at Sedgefield has a few non runners, we liked Discoverie and Astrum;
we tipped Astrum last time out (22 October) when it unseated when going very
well; and Discoverie is may be a better chaser now that a hurdler.
At Wexford we marginally prefer Cloudy Morning to the potentially improving
Youcantcallmethat is the long Distance Hurdle at 1.55 and in the 3.00 long
Distance Chase the wily veteran Drop Anchor is preferred over Phone Booth.
So if you fancy a fun accumulator for a small stake (10p e.w costs £6.20)
Lingfield 2.05 Allchilledout
Sedgefield 1.40 Astrum
Wexford 1.55 Cloudy Morning
Wexford 3.00 Drop Anchor
Sedgefield 12.10 Willie Hall
