Hot 2 Trot - Wetherby 2.40 6 Frank The Slink 8/1 / 9 Major Ridge 12/1 - (both 1/2 point each way)

The Card at Wetherby is not great but we fancy the chances of taking on an odds on favourite

in the 3 mile Chase at 2.40, the favourite is strong on merit but we think one Trainer has a very

strong hand here - Micky Hammond runs Longueville Flyer, a Course and Distance winner and

back on a very nice mark but may just need this run, Frank The Slink who ran a promising race

last time out and who will find this slightly shorter trip absolutely ideal; and Major Ridge who

was another who ran with promise over slightly further last time, and who possibly has a bit more

scope to improve than its stablemates. We give very solid e/w chances to all three with only the

lack of recent runs the negative for Longueville Flyer, so we will have 1/2 point each way on

MAJOR RIDGE at 12/1 and FRANK THE SLINK at 8/1.
