This race sees enhanced odds to 4th from Ladbrokes and Coral so if you have access to them, back both;

as we are seeking each way net profit from the race. The field is very competitive and you can make cases for many.

Discoverie may not like the track; Nefyn Boy is of interest but indications are it will need the run; Newstart is a big

danger but comes from a stable you just cannot fathom most of the time, they either run them or distinctly pull them;

and it is a complete lottery punting wise with anything from that yard. Pistol could be a dark horse but I narrowed it

down to Rhymers Stone, Viserion; Idder and Meadowcraft Boy.

Rhymers Stone is solid and off a nice mark but just a nagging doubt it will need this run, Viserion comes from an in

form yard who have done very well recently for SP2A and runs off a nice handicap mark. It could run from the front

in classic stable style and romp home, but the last run, even if needed was inexcusably poor and the horse does

not seem to have been right since it was pulled up in the Spring, so reluctantly left out until we see a bit more.

IDDER is a Course specialist; yard are slowly coming to hand, the booking of Brian Hughes should be a sign of intent

and he has won on the horse before, no Going concerns and a more than impressive run last time out. MEADOWCRAFT

BOY was eye catching last time and still tons in hand off increased mark based on old form. Was that a "flash in the pan";

possibly but the Trainer (who is in good form) explained that the horse has had wind and leg operations. It seems some

think it needs "Good ground" maybe, but if you delve back far enough you will see it won in 2013 on heavy Going here

off a Going stick reading almost identical to today; so it can and has won under these conditions and if back to form;

looks a very strong each way bet. With Lads and Corals paying those "odds to 4th" we will seek a profit from the race

and if you want a small dabble at the Tricast; add in Rhymers Stone and Viseron.
