Hexham 3.10 2 Letemgo @ 11/1 / 13 Poetic Presence @ 16/1 (1/2 point each way each horse) (Lad/Coral/Sky - odds to 4th)

I am in the unusual position of tipping 2 horses today that I tipped last time out, neither won then;

but both ran with considerable merit, so I have no doubt, both can run at least as well today, and with luck in

running can go very close. PRINCESS MONONOKE ran well at CARLISLE but found the step up in trip and

the hill there just too much; especially in a race run tactically on pudding ground. The horse is a Course and

Distance winner here; ideal conditions, softer rather than pudding ground is expected and looks the one to beat.

The dangers are Ange Des Malbereaux; Mrs Grass; Who's Cross and Sky Full Of Stars, but on all form analysis;

they would have a fair bit to find with the selection IF it runs its race and at 7/2 a solid 1 point win bet.

When I selected LETEMGO a few weeks back at Ayr; I had some very unkind comments in advance of the race;

the vindication though of some deep analysis; of the back form of this horse from 2-3 years ago, was a storming

run and a place at 25/1 and watching then, and several times since, the view it could have/would have won

that day, had it just been ridden a bit more prominently. It will clearly come on for the run but has to find a

bit with the horse that beat it that day Rivabidova; and a very strong Nicky Richards favourite today.

I think it can get the measure of Rivabidova by being ridden with more confidence here; and the Trainer will

know the track as he is starting to specialise in P2P racing (there is an inner P2P track here); and I think at

11/1 with several bookies offering odds to 4th, represents good e/w value. Another horse in that race that has

won a P2P here is POETIC PRESENCE; the tale here is that rather than running more prominently; they need

to run it with less choke out; IF it can run more conservatively, it looks cracking value for a place (to 4th) at

around 16/1. So I suggest 1/2 point each way on the 2 selections and a crafty Tricast/Trifecta Perm covering

the favourite and Rivabidova and the 2 selections; for a bit of fun!
