Taunton 3.20

Taunton 3.20 3 Triple Chief @ 12/1 / 7 Dunns River @ 16/1 (generally)

(1/2 point each way each horse - all Bookies go odds to 4th place)

Many in this field are "summer jumpers" who have had decent spells, but the Going though Good may be a bit too
soft in places for some of them. It is important to remember that the "Good" is due to lack of rain as opposed to warm sunshine and
I think this at find a few out. This is a tight track, but there is a decent climb to the line and a few like to really get on with it and the
pace up front may play in to the hands of a closer at the finish. Justice Knight; Marjus Quest; Princess Roania and Sweeping Rock;
all like to run prominently, all have yet to conclusively prove they can run prominently and get home over this trip, one or more may

slip the field, but more likely I think that they will beat each other and capitulate in the final 3-400 yards up the hill.

I can see why Soulsaver is favourite, may well beat these with some ease for a yard doing very well at the moment but I am not
sure the price is absolute value and also a slight niggle that Fontwell form can't always be trusted away from Fontwell; I will be happy
to say I got it wrong if it wins doing handstands, have a win saver if you wish to cover the each way stakes on the 2 selections. Of
the remainder, Ordensritter may be on a very nice mark now race fit and he and the favourite would make a Tricast perm with the
selections. TRIPLE CHIEF reverts to Hurdles from Chasing, has been running well enough and has advantage of being race fir;
trip looks ideal, has stamina at further, very clever lady rider, rides for her dad here, and I think she can hunt them up off a fast
pace and swoop up the finishing hill. I also like DUNNS RIVER, this trip is on the short side, needed recent run at Ludlow where
it ran well for a decent amount of the trip, they will surely play to stamina strengths and with odds to 4th, like the other selection;
I see both passing  a lot of horses up the hill off a decent pace.
