Carlisle 7.50

THE ADVISOR - Carlisle 7.50 Handicap - Class 6 - 1 mile 1 furlong - 13 run

There aren't that many in here that convince me if the expected showers soften the Turf especially up the hill over a tough 9 furlongs.

Hostelry has gone  2-2-2-2 and is a consistent horse who deserves a win but the trip in softening ground may not present the ideal scenario for it.

Nothing apart from my final three really presented itself as worth investment.

DANDYS ANGEL gets its ideal trip, ideal underfoot conditions and runs off a nice mark and should be able to get a good position from Stall 2. I really can't make any excuse why it shouldn't be placed at the very least.

MAC ALLEY has disappointed a few times this season and owes us a bit but it prefers soft Going, has assured stamina, the yard seem to chip in with handicap winners on a daily basis and off the mark it's definitely the best chance its had so far this season and excuses will wear thin if it doesn't capitalise in some way.

MINNIE THE MINX has proven stamina and may find this on the short ide but a fair number might really be flagging  in the final 100 years and if its sharp enough to take advantage off a 62 day break I can see it grabbing a bit of each way shrapnel to an enhanced place.
