Exeter 2.05
THE ADVISOR - Exeter 2.05 - Handicap Chase - Class 4 - 3 miles - 14 run - Good to Soft (light showers possible from this sort of time)
I think a few at the top of the market may just need their seasonal debuts based on past form.
VANGO DE VAIGE is the one to beat if fit enough, a Course win over Hurdles and off the same mark, has shown promise over fences so have a win saver if you wish.
Chesterfield King, Ede'iffs Elton and Oneida Tribe may need a few more runs but could be winning races later in the season. Telso Barley is on a possibly lenient mark based on Hurdles form and could be market value but I'm yet to be totally convinced it can jump round fences over 3 miles without clouting a few, and on this ground, momentum lost will be hard to recover from.
I will have a sporting each way poke on MAX FORTE who has won at the Course, has had a run and will benefit from it and who runs off a competitive Handicap mark and may have been well placed here by canny connections. SEASIDE GIRL is another who I like the look of today, from Ben Pauling's yard. has some decent 3 mile P2P form, won at Fontwell earlier this season off 96, needs decent ground so excuses since and today's mark of 101 with a 7lbs claimer, gives it every chance and no excuses provided the rains have not come earlier and heavier than expected.
