Bolsover Bill is favourite and ran up a treble earlier in the season off marks of 87 and 92, it just looks and feels vulnerable off a mark north of 100 though. Hector Jaguen has flattered to deceive a few times and although greatly feared may find this trip stretching its stamina.

 

FURKASH has finally clicked over fences though for Joe Tizzard and could well be the one to beat here and the one who could go on to better things in time. 

 

There is a dark one though to mention and that's OSCARMAN on Chase debut and with some very solid Hurdles form. On that form alone I'd be interested but if you go back to 2019 you'll find that this horse hunted round and was 6 length runner up in a 3 mile P2P to a horse now rated 145 for Donald mCain and beat a few others whose subsequent marks suggest that a Handicap Chase opening mark of 100 is possibly very lenient. I think Chasing is this guys ultimate aim and may be only solid Hurdles form and a chance to toughen up has delayed it until now. One to note and have a small bet on for sure.
