Haydock 12.50
Haydock 12.50 7 Achill Road Boy @ 9/1 / 8 Letemgo @ 14/1 - both 1/2 point each way
I have tipped Achill Road Boy last time out and he ran on in to 3rd and was may be a shade unlucky, whilst my SP2A colleagues have twice tipped Letemgo, with a 25/1 place and a 5th place so far. They are the 2 outsiders
here but looking closely at the race, I really fancy both to outrun their odds, if either places we cover the bet, but I honestly
think both represent great value in the context of the race.
Ceann Sibheal could rout these on best form but did nothing last year and arrives off a long break;Chicoia is usually best fresh
and even on best form looks place material at best; Thomas Patrick won very well at Exeter last time, but up 7lbs and left handed
here is not great value at the price, he is the most likely to win, so have a win saver if you wish. Un Guet Apens also won last time
out but my concern there is that the trip could extend it, and it has some form to make up based on previous hurdle form.
ACHILL ROAD BOY races off a higher mark over Hurdles but won its last Hurdle race, now fully fit and tuned up, I think the
testing conditions and long straight will suit, I am a big fan of the jockey and Trainer and the low weight to carry a big bonus.
LETEMGO surprised many at Ayr, could have won that race but for the young jockey just letting the leader get away; ran
OK next time too but a return to a flatter sweeping track will help (configuration of Ayr and Haydock is very similar); gets a
professional jockey to help today and the form of that Ayr run was really boosted by another SP2A winner Chu Chu Percy
when that won at Newcastle very recently for us.
