Hereford 2.50

Hereford 2.50 - Handicap Chase - Class 5 - 3 miles 1 furlong - 16 run - Good to Soft

Another race where the market seems to have ignored a few with solid form.

Family pet ran well when way out of the handicap last time and the market seems to have been swayed by that. Felton Bellevue is second favourite and although a runner up the last twice doesn't strike me as one that's going to win this deeper race.

A few in here need to prove their well being but if and when they can are capable of winning races, so watch Gold Clermont and Hill Of Hope who both bled after their last runs and if proving well being both are worth tracking forwards.Legend Of Zorro similarly runs after wind surgery and Jerminnie Green who pulled up sharply after winning the previous time for Alan King is another we just need to watch rather than invest in at the moment.

Ivilnoble had a tough race in deep mud just 9 days ago and may just suffer form that at the business end here, BALLYBREEN gets new headgear and remains mega frustrating, the type you almost want a bit of shrapnel on each time it runs as it's got to click back at some point. It has good Course form and worth a small dabble

Mount Oliver had a nice blow on seasonal debut it ticks many boxes here and a big gancer, I just felt it needed a few pounds off the handicapper still and may be this run but will be very interesting from today onwards. Black Centaur has a squeak with the yard now back in the winners enclosure too.

I'm most keen on JURYS OUT for Venetia, it definitely needed its seasonal debut and will come on for it, it placed at this trip off a mark of 100 at Wincanton and has a sporting each way shout here on a similar track off a mark of 98. They may well go off at a decent lick here and the faster they go the more they play to the proven stamina of FINDUSATGORCOMBE who gets cheek-pieces too to sharpen it up and although inconsistent could run an enhanced place doing all its best work late on.
