Kempton 3.35
The Advisor - Kempton 3.35 - Handicap Hurdle - Class 4 - 2 miles 5 furlongs - 11 run - Good to Soft
Three horses dominate the market here but all have some degree of doubt about them.
We tipped SAMI BEAR last week at Wincanton and it came to win its race before something spooked it and it veered violently at the last ditching and unseating its rider. The Trainer indicated its a quirky sort. That's the negatives. The positives are that it's effectively a winner without a penalty and I don't think this is as deep a race. It's a worthy WIN tip.
No No Tango for the Longsdon yard has its first run at the trip, so there is a stamina niggle, it carries 12 stones so has plenty of weight, it's a fair old way up the hill here especially if they go a decent clip on the Good to Soft Going. It was lightly raced with some scope but at the price it just didn;t appeal. Hardy Boy comes from an in-form Yard whose horses are again running well as the ground has improved. It won low grade races at Southwell and Huntingdon last year and both those Course lack the sort of uphill finish here. Its off a declining mark but still above it's last win mark and gets Cheekpieces. I prefer it to No No Tango but not to Sami Bear.
The rest I wasn't that keen on with 2 exceptions. Optimistic Run has had one decent run at Chepstow, Justified can win a small race but most likely on better Going and summer jumping and What's My Line is probably best at Fontwell round the twists and turns.
The pair that caught the one were Ahead Of The Field who has lost all confidence over Fences but whose Hurdle mark in Ireland was a good Stone above the mark of 109 here. It can't be backed with confidence until it puts in a round of jumping even over Hurdles but one to TRACK forwards as off a mark like today it can win Hurdle races based on tha Irish form.
With 11 runners I only want 2 selections and the each way value may lie with FERROBIN who is exposed but who has plenty of past form at the Trip and the Going and seems to be best right handed. It's been competitive in the not too distant past off marks of 114 and 116 and if any of the top 3 fail to deliver looks the most likely at a nice each way price.
TIPS (1) Sami Bear (win only) / (2) Ferrobin (each way)
