The probable underfoot conditions are also a factor here in Tipster's thought process.

 

At the top end of the market I'm not sure about Out of The Glen off an inflated mark in possibly deep muddy conditions, Town Park is out of form but conversely conditions may suit and spark a revival. Jobesgreen Lad was impressive last time but again I'm not sure gluepot will suit it and whilst Flann is the one to beat, I think conditions may be a real leveller here. I can see a lot pulled up and not run into the ground so early in the season.

 

Guguss Collonges is another who may not appreciate the Going, Guillemot would be a warm order over Hurdles but as yet has had trouble getting from A to B over fences, a massive danger when jumping actually clicks, Loud As Lions is coming back to fitness off a 2 year break, the drop in trip may suit and one that's hard to totally write off and I expect an improved run, it just missed out on an investment and would be reserve if either selection is a non-runner. Family Pot is another whose best is on better ground and Lots Of Luck who may need the run but who has won fresh could be a danger at a price if getting in to a nice rhythm and left unchallenged. One to watch in running early if David Bass can get a blow in to it.

 

My main pair though are JUDEX LEFOU who went in to my notebook last season, it drops in trip, is below its last winning mark, the Yard found a spurt of form just before the short lockdown due to the cold spell and I'll be very disappointed if it's not challenging hard over the last couple of jumps here. ARCADE ATTRACTION is too big a price for one with a Course win over shorter, a Distance win elsewhere and whilst recent form is poor it's now race fit and one lurking at a silly price.
