A really tough and competitive race.

 

I think Kittys Light is overpriced, it does get and need further but did start 2021 with a runner up effort at this sort of trip, it may need softer though but if they went off too fast the stamina may see a small reward. Java Point will need the run I'm pretty sure but definitely one to TRACK forwards.

 

The likes of Dublin Four and Killer Kane arrive fit and in form and will be big dangers, Kapcorse has a terrific record in the race and connection to Peter O Sullivan after whom the race is named. It's a fragile horse and one Paul Nicholls has performed a few miracles with already, I just think weight and time will catch up with it today but with PFN you never know!

 

I think CHAMPAGNE COURT is too good to ignore, a drop back slightly in trip is not a concern, its up 4lbs for a win last time and I think this Course and the likely pace will really play to its strengths. CAP DU NORD is another I really like, it won this race in 2020 off a mark of 123 and progressed last season,unlucky on seasonal debut last time and I think ready to win this again.

 

At bigger Odds and for some shrapnel I think a play on Senior Citizen may deliver something, it was very progressive last Autumn, back to a nice handicap mark and fit and ready to resume progress and another likely to be suited by the Track and Conditions
