A moderate 3 mile Handicap Hurdle and the market is dominated by Triopas, mainly as Johnson

makes the trip up here instead of going to Cheltenham. It ran and won well at Chepstow but not value here at 7/4;

also worth noting all its best form has "soft" in the Going description and this flat track no real undulations in the

home straight, is markedly different to Chepstow, I'm happy to take it on.

CHU CHU PERCY ran well at Ayr last time, the winner and placed horses have franked the form since and the horse

is from an in form yard with a Point 2 Point win on Good Going and I think it is cracking each way value. I think that

BESCOT SPRINGS sets the benchmark but not quite sure about the Going here and a better handicapped and more

progressive horse could be FLEMERINA from Sue Smiths yard. This is often the week where she really fires (especially

the Saturday Wetherby Card) and Flemerina is now fit and looks ready to step up to this trip. I will take on the favourite

with those pair (Chu Chu Percy and Flemerina) with Bescot Springs and the favourite n a Tricast Perm.

Of the others I will track Kings Eclipse as clearly talented but not sure how good form of last run is; Bocasien Desbois

gets a right trip for first time based on P2P form and may be more of a long term project and Lowcarr Motion and The

Conn are on good handicap marks, but need to show a bit more frankly, especially on this better ground.
