I shall have a small win saver to cover my each way bet. The rest are moderate but it is possible via a process of elimination to try

to find some each way value. Flashman probably well sums up its Trainer and it could surprise here by stepping up by best part of

a mile in trip, it's Moore; it's Monday and it's Plumpton but on any logical form analysis, that trip is a huge concern and the yard are

not exactly firing, cue it coming home by 2-3 fences!!. I have trip concerns too about Venetian Lad and a look back indicates that both

Itoldyou and Amberjam are more than likely to need the run, either could place if sensibly ridden but on balance, not confident about

either on seasonal debut. That leaves me with TALK OF THE SOUTH about whom I have no Course; Going or trip concerns, a dour

stayer and has had 2 seasonal runs and ran OK for a fair way at Exeter last time where we plucked out a winner at nice odds. I think

it is now ready to run a race and do justice and the handicap mark is fine so my place money is on TALK OF THE SOUTH with a win

saver of Flight Commander
