Sedgefield 2.45

Sedgefield 2.45 - Handicap Hurdle - Class 5 - 2 miles 5 furlongs - 14 run - Good to Soft

The top pair in the market, Latino Fling for the McCain team who are churning winners as usual and Chosen Shant for Ian Williams will take all the beating but at restrictive odds they aren't unbeatable and both have yet to fully show likely potential.

Midnight Antics showed some promise last time out and Pure Surf has shown a few glimmers and may benefit from some new headgear but there are a couple who look worth a small investment on the day.

MISSCARLETT for Phil Kirby is race fit and has run well enough on last 2 starts. Best on Good it can and has coped with Good to Soft and Soft and with no mud lovers jumping off the page anyway looks worthy of a small each way investment.

One for the future and to Track on next few runs for sure is CALLIN DEARG for Rose Dobbin, a 3 mile P2P and National Hunt Flat Race winner this is a nice horse who will win races. If it's fit enough on seasonal debut I wouldn't rule out a bold run today but absolutely one to follow.

TRACKER - Misscarlett (shrapnel bet and a must in your trackers -: Callin DEARG).
