Warwick 4.15
THE ADVISOR - Warwick 4.15 Handicap Chase - Class 5 - 3 miles 1 and 1/2 furlongs - 18 run - Soft
It's impossible not to include SAFE DESTINATION as a win bet after a facile win last time for the Twiston-Davies yard, it's a step up but the horse looks one to follow.
Dream of Diamonds was an eye catcher last time after staying on to place after a long break and got a second wind late on, connections though are always hard to fathom and at the price differential with Safe Destination, I much fancy the T-Davies horse. Pemberley is very hard to ignore, a Course winner, a revitalised yard and best fresh usually, it's off a nice mark and was very hard to leave out but although it has some form fresh I just think they might want a run to get fully tuned up and to protect what could then be a very nice handicap mark.I', thinking back here or may be Newbury in 3 weeks time for this horse.
Felton Bellevue has been off for 181 days, can also go well fresh so another who could be primed but on balance I think may just need the run. I would also want to TRACK this one and also Twilight Glory, Patient Owner, His Oscar and The Late Legend as they may all need this but it has got the look of a long distance Chase that could tr=hrow up some very solid formlines for the months ahead.
The pair who I think can really capitalise today on some race fitness, who may not win this race if it was held in 6 weeks time, but who jump out as ready now are ALL STAR BERT who ran well on reappearance, has proven stamina at this trip and further and who runs off a nice mark and suitable ground conditions. The benefit of that earlier run just swings it for me. FATIQUE DE L'ISLE is one I've watched for a year or so and earmarked for some real progress this season, it won a race over 3 miles at Ffos Llas a while back but didn't really step up from that, it's trodden water somewhat but is race fit and young Michael Scudamore is a more than capable Trainer and I think this one could be another to take advantage of some race fitness here.
Another TRainer who can ready one and drop it in to good effect at a big price is Martin Keighley, he may be doesn't get the ammunition he deserves and has been overtaken by some of the promising young Trainers he himself looked like a few years back. ENFORCEMENT though is one at a bit price who has won over 3 miles, run a few good races here at Warwick and who lurks on a low weight and a mark of 76 with a very decent 10lbs Claimer in the saddle. If some who are seasonal debut are pulled up when they start to blow and not given too hard a time, then I can see this one outrunning big odds.
