THE ADVISOR -:

At Bangor in the 1.30 a 3 mile Handicap Chase Class 2 over 3 miles there are some very good and solid contenders on seasonal debut who will win plenty of C2-C3 races this season.

The one who looks a very solid each way contender who has the benefit of a run is CAPTAIN TOMMY. He also won second time out last season after a similar prep run off a mark of 122, he's run well here too in the past at this quirky track where it pays to run up with the pace off similar marks and it will be disappointing if he's not placed at least given his fitness advantage, handicap mark and proven liking for the Course.

At bigger odds the other "captain" CAPTAIN CHAOS may need another run or two to get fully competitive but gets his ground here off a nice mark and one to continue to track and watch as the season progresses.

At Exeter the Going is also "Good" and in the big field opener for Conditional Jockeys at 12.40 a number have chances.

Bean In Trouble for Jonjo heads the market and looks VERY solid for win saver backers and the Fergal horse Tip Top Cat will also take some catching and that may be a crafty dual forecast bet.

In normal circumstances I'd be keen on Get An Oscar but the lad in the saddle is very inexperienced, Master Tradesman has knocked on the door a few times but still not won under Rules after 20 plus efforts, Putting Green has an excellent form chance but this is not Perth and track probably doesn't suit either; Sienna Royale too has had a run, likes the Course but best runs have been over considerably shorter.

The one I have more than a sneaky bit of confidence about though is TERRIERMAN for Tom Lacey. A runner up for Skelton off 118 and 121, won a couple too in 2019, seemed to lose a bit of interest last season but Lacey can revive horses and it looks well handicapped on that past evidence. I don't know much about the young jockey Thomas Doggrell but a simple search shows Lacey does use him and his last 2 runs for the Yard have delivered a winner and a runner up.
