JACK SPRAT looks a horse to follow and I'll be surprised if it doesn't go in here so on this occasion a "win saver" bet is recommended at anything around 3/1

 

SAMI BEAR looks the biggest danger and may have some each way value it's 1 lb above last win mark but an excellent 5lbs Claimer adds to the confidence and this is an ease in Class. WATCHOUTITSCOOKIE is in the TRACKER and will come on for a recent run, its a Course and Distance winner off a mark of 74 and another who looks well handicapped courtesy of a Claimer taking 7lbs off a mark of 77.

 

The likes of Doyen For Money, Ventara, Robbers Bridge and Makanao will all be winning races in the not too distant future and are potentially nice horses to TRACK and follow.  

 

There is one at big Odds worth a small shrapnel bet I think and that's WHENITRAINSITPOURS who has joined Syd Hosie. It looks basically out of form but hosie can turn a sour horse round and with a declining handicap mark that seems finally to be coming to a realistic rather than fanciful level, and more than a few glimmers of potential, it would be no surprise to see an improved run from this one and another to keep an eye on.
