A race where any one of the 13 runners could pop up and some really nice exposed and unexposed talent on show.

 

The Two Amigos could try to run them ragged off the front and get many out of their comfort zones early. If fit enough could take some pegging back but have to take fitness on trust and mat set the race up for something race fit. Acting Lass and Notachance are huge dangers if fit first time out especially the King horse Notachance who may be the "win saver" of those at the top end of the market.

 

I'm drawn to race fitness and think that whilst Django Django and Shannon Bridge should out run Odds and could place, they are trumped by a pair who appeal more at sporting prices on the day.

 

CAPTAIN CHAOS had no chance v Frodon on seasonal debut but had a nice run round in exhalted company. Runner up and a winner earlier in 2020 pre Covid off a mark of 134, the booking of a Claimer mitigates a rise to 142 and opens up a chance here to exploit some race fitness. CAPTAIN TOMMY would be a hugely popular winner on this remberance day and despite being in quite deeply in terms of potential, it is the fittest horse in the race by a considerable margin, is a Course and Distance runner up recently and may pick a few off at the likely pace the race could be run at.
