It's not a particularly deep race but very competitive in the top half of the market.

 

At the top end of the early market I'll take on Riyami who is upped 3 furlongs in trip and Dinamine who was runner up on seasonal debut but who also may not appreciate the extended 14 furlongs here. One who is hard to figure and ignore is BALLYBAUN STAR who ran well on penultimate run in a race where he reopposes several here but who then completely refused to race last time out. That's always a worry so I strongly suggest backing this one in running for £2 on the exchanges IF he leaves the stalls within 5 lengths of the field.   

 

At bigger Odds I think both EDGE OF MY SEAT and Sceptered isle could outrun big Odds, Sceptered Isle ran well here last July but has been off for 237days whereas EDGE OF MY SEAT has some decent hurdle form over 2 miles and a Flat pedigree that suggests this could be an ideal trip on the Flat and well worth a bit of shrapnel.

 

The top 3 on my Ratings though are BOLERO, INDULGING and ORANMORE in that order. BOLERO has some very solid overall and collateral form and some solid Course and Distance form and it will be most disappointing if it isn't in the top 4 finishers here. INDULGING for Ted Walsh an W J Lee has solid form at the trip and off this sort of mark and the addition of a tongue tie looks a bit of an eyecatcher in just finding the little bit of improvement needed. ORANMORE ran well last time and a repeat of that would take it close here and it has solid 12 furlong form at Dundalk and has suggested this sort of trip could be ideal.
