Cork 1.45
MICHAEL - Cork 1.45 - Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 4 furlongs - 12 run - Soft
A tight and competitive race; with Positive thinker who is in excellent form, Tomjackwilliam, who was impressive on seasonal debut and Union Park who makes a rare Hurdles appearance off an eye-catching mark all very strong contenders.
CINSA for the Mullins team though looks a good price early with those 3 in contention in the market. CINSA was aimed at some very juicy Novice prizes last year and ran with credit although maybe not quite what the stable thought for this ex French horse. Time is on its side though and I'll be surprised and disappointed if its not up to taking this race.
Caldwell Diamond for Elliott could be anything but currently has a lesser profile.
A couple of more exposed types will go off at big prizes but both are more than capable of nicking a place if some of the more fancied types don't deliver on expectation, so I suggest a small shrapnel bet e/w on both REBEL EARLY who may be out of form over the bigger obstacles but who is very well handicapped over hurdles off this mark and could easily revive over them and BIG DEBATES who has had 3 runs so should be fully tuned up and another who runs off something of an eye-catching mark, if not today then both of these can be winning soon!
Tips (1) Cinsa / (2s) Rebel Early / (3s) Big Debates
