Newcastle - Friday 15th November

MICHAEL - Newcastle 12.00 Handicap Hurdle Class 5 - 2 miles 7 1/2 Furlongs - soft 12 run

Mr Love is the obvious one, a winner without a penalty from a top yard but "Evens" and the win at Huntingdon may not be as cast iron as it looks on a totally different Track, left handed, not right, long straight rather than turning all the way, so lets look for some each way and Tricast value.

At 4/1 the second favourite is FINAL FLING, I will suggest an each way tip on that as better value than a win saver on the favourite. The horse won twice at the trip off marks of 94 and 101 in soft and then heavy and if there is a chink in the stamina or heart of the favourite for a battle down this straight, the Dobbin horse will find it.

Petite Ganache from the Richards yard will have its supporters but I'm just a bit unnerved by a lack of any worthwhile form in soft Going so the value may lie with DR TIME who ran well enough over 3 miles in the mud at Ffos Llas recently to suggest conditions will suit and a place run at decent odds is a strong possibility.

For those with an eye on the future, keep an eye on rank outsider TAILSPIN @ 50/1 the Dobbin 2nd string a 3 mile P2P winner in soft who may be a long term prospect to track from this early stage of its career from a canny Yard.

TIPS - Final Fling + Dr Time (have Mr Love in a Tricast Perm)
