MICHAEL - Punchestown  4.10 Novice Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 7 furlongs - 12 run - Heavy

 

At the top of the market are the in form Buachaillbocht; Noble Talent, Jeriko De Baune and Rusheen. All are penalised and in some cases by 8-12lbs and I simply want to take them all on despite the winning form off those higher marks in these conditions.

 

The standout pair to beat them would seem to be the steadily improving and upped in trip JACK DU LARGE for Elliott and BALLYCASHIN whose 4th of 17 here in the Autumn over 3 miles plus would be good enough to go very close and the slight drop in trip a big plus too.

 

For some shrapnel FROM THE ASHES in anything but a Novice, especially over Fences where it has a much higher mark, for some reason they want to focus on Hurdles for now and at this trip in the mud, even inferior Hurdles form should see it finishing a lot stronger than most at very nice Odds.
