Tramore 3.00

MICHAEL - Tramore 3.00 Handicap Chase - 2 miles 5 and 1/2 furlongs - 14 run - Soft / Heavy

At the top of the market is the in form Intersky Sunset who has won a P2P and a Hurdle race off a long absence and who could be anything and may be tough to beat but i see no value in the early price. Kilashee is a capable horse who is a bit of a scary jumper and up and down these hills will test hi technique although not a lot of fences here mitigates the concerns a bit but on balance I preferred a few more strongly.Rochestown may just need the run but is interesting back Chasing and one to add to the TRACKER!.

Rudy Catrail is the obvious pace angle and always the risk it'll slip a field round a Course like this and it has done that over as far as 3 miles, it does prefer better ground though so I'll take it on although with a degree of trepidation. Battle Away is a horse that has often promised but not delivered and still has that aura about him but at 10 years of age now may be he simply isn't ever going to deliver to obvious potential, another I leave out reluctantly.

It's impossible NOT to have a small win saver on KINGS HALO a Course runner up in the mud, a Limerick winner and runner up on seasonal return, looks a far stronger proposition to me that Intersky Sunset

My each way banker in that case would be MACIVER a Course winner, a Distance winner and although better so far over Hurdles there are increasing signs that despite not being a natural Chaser that progress could soon pay off with schooling.

A couple look well worth some small shrapnel e/w bets to enhanced places, GENERAL RYAN and GO BATTLE have interesting correlated form and both like to run near the front and look as likely as anything to run very well for a long way.

Tips (w/s) Kings Halo / (2) Maciver / (3s) General Ryan / (4s) Go Battle
