Uttoxeter 12.45 - Maiden Hurdle Class 4 2 miles 7 1/2 furlongs (11 run)

 

A Maiden Hurdle over an extended trip where Accordingtogino is very short Odds and has become something of a Chepstow specialist. The horse is near Odds on, feel free to have a win saver and logic says it's the obvious winner but there are a few who I fancy more here, one at a monster price.

 

Apple Rock has decent Good ground P2P form and runs for Ben Pauling so a live danger, Lies About Milan is pitched straight in to this sort of race by the in form Fergal O'Brien and another who could be anything and if those 3 came home 1-2-3 the market would be pretty much spot on.

 

However, I prefer the claims of GOLDEN SOVERIGN for Hobbs and Richard Johnson, has some nice solid form, excuses last time when the horse was reported to have suffered a cut leg during the race and on the balance of various bits of solid evidence looks solid win saver material.

 

The one that really intrigues me and who could literally be anything e.g out the back of the TV or what to most would be a surprise winner is GETAMAN. Won a P2P in Ireland over 3 miles and has other good runs in that sphere but one notable one saw it beat a runner now with Olly Murphy who romped in unheralded at Leicester on Saturday at 25/1 (Oscar Academy) so using  a strategy that has paid fantastic rewards on occasions in the past, we will have a tip as opposed to a tracker on this one today.
