Ayr 2.15

Ayr 2.15 7 Another Mattie @ 16/1 / 4 Rowdy Rocher @ 10/1 - both each way

A Hurdle Race (Handicap Qualifier) over an extended 3 miles in mud, the market leader looks vulnerable at this price although the
Yard, better known for its Flat horses had a nice long priced winner yesterday. Both Conquer Gold and Chef D'Oeuvre are better known
now as Chasers, both on recovery missions but off decent hurdle marks; if they turn up and perform will be hard to beat but we have to

view both as may be being here for the run and not desperate to win by too far; as that would impact on overall handicap marks.

The obvious specialist Hurdle is the in form TOO MANY CHIEFS but that is up 11lbs for 2 emphatic wins and in so doing allows one
of our selections ANOTHER MATTIE to get a 17lbs pull for a 10 length defeat. Another Mattie is limited if consistent; pops up from time
to time when the handicap mark allows, if fit; stable just coming in to a bit better form, has the original of the new vanguard and still probably
the best lady pilot on board, although injuries have halted her momentum and to be noted that its last 2 wins have been off marks of 113
and 115 and runs off a mark of 113 here, and on that basis the 16/1 does look like a little bit of value. The other one to note handicap mark
wise, and one who usually improves for seasonal debut and has a nice record second time out is ROWDT ROCHER; getting on a bit now but

has never been "over raced" and likely to run much better here and just a sneaking suspicion that it could take a hand if the Chasers disappoint.

Those are the tips for today; not much to report elsewhere as indicated looks a "favourites day" over Jumps and at Plumpton may be the

best angle is to have a small point on both of the Chris Gordon runners in the 2.30 (King Uther and Ballyheigue Boy).

With regard to Staking, I would draw your attention to the specific points made below, all I will say is that I think today is a day to be
sensible and cautious and personally I will be betting accordingly, but as always it is at your discretion.
