A decent field here with 3 reserves so some nice enhanced places to aim at.

 

It's a quirky Course where they go uphill down the back and then downhill to a tight turn and short run in so it pays to be prominent but not all out too soon. 

 

The one I can't ignore and they all have to beat and at anything over 3/1 therefore a very sold win or each way saver at bigger than 9/2 (your choice) is BEER WITH THE BOYS. Runner up over a furlong further here and at this trip at Tipperary is stand out form in a field that you'd usually see at Dundalk on the AW and you can't really ignore its credentials here.

 

Miss Cunning may find the trip stretching it a bit, South East Star has bits and pieces of form but at 4/1 is absolutely no value, L'Un Deus Trois has distance wins off 59 and 60, but that seems a ceiling level these days and off a mark of 64 and drawn in the Car Park is one i can by-pass for tonight but a danger definitely. Shumaker is a Course and Distance winner whose profile suggests will need this belated return, and that leaves me with 3 at very decent prices.

 

The most confident of which is RIPS DREAM who has some decent turf form amongst the AW runs off this sort of mark and I'll be disappointed if it's not in the first 4 home. At bigger prices I think RAGTIME RED is well over-priced so get the price early if you can. Its best turf run was 4th of 18 at Fairyhouse at this trip and off this mark and a repeat of that against a field of mostly AW horses would surely see it beating more home than finish in front of it. I would also suggest a small stake in YOUR HONOR with the guaranteed enhanced places at a nice price. This 3 year old should have more scope than anything else in the field and a few signs that it has untapped potential and whatever happens tonight one I have just added to my TRACKER!
