SEAN - Clonmel 1.40 - Handicap Hurdle - 3 miles - 11 run - Heavy

 

This race caught my attention enough to have a confident punt given the Heavy ground conditions and there is one at a very silly price too that I simply can't resist.

 

Castle Field Boy is around Evens and upped 8lbs for a CD win last time, however WHATSAVAILABLE is on a potentially nice mark and should improve for recent run and I think is far better value.

 

This is surely a prep run for Angels Down and although Stuzzikini will have support from the Elliott yard it's had a few similar chances it's failed to convert in to a win and I'd have a niggle re the trip in this ground. Missiee will be suited by the mud but is another i think will just run out of steam up the final climb. The Big Galloper looked a very nice prospect a few years back but lightly raced before a 641 day break so we can only watch and hope some ability remains. 

 

BALLYADAM DESTINY sort of jumped off the page and will improve for a recent run and is a solid each way poke taking the concerns of the remainder at face value.

 

I can't resist a quid e/w on FULLY CHARGED, out of form completely and not the horse it looked like it could be but it runs prominently and basically they can't get the fractions right. This quirky track may just suit it as u=its  long old climb up the back before a long downhill and then a climb in. Visualisation is key with some horses and I can just see it getting up that hill ON the bridle and then freewheeling down where it would normally hit "the wall". IF he can take a second wind turning in, he may just do what he's long threatened to do and slip a field. Fantasy stuff but once in a while it comes off!
