A decent field and at the top of the market I think that CRACK ON CORRIE could be some each way value despite being 2nd favourite. A winner at this tricky Course and also at the Distance and unpenalised for an impressive Hurdles win last time. I'll have an each way Tip banker on it today.

 

A few catch the eye at bigger prices though and with guaranteed reserves and therefore enhanced prices I'll invest in a couple more here.

 

Presenting Point is interesting and was considered, a runner up off a mark of 90 and winner off 92 last season, soft and heavy Going is fine and very much coming back in to handicap mark range off 95 with a 5lbs claimer here, if any of the selections were a non runner, he'd be a handy reserve. Tiantu too is a danger horse off top weight. A winner off 100 and 106 back to back in 2020 and just now getting some rope from the handicapper, back to a mark of 102 and one to track at anything around 100 or lower in next few runs. Finally in the short list discards came Meyzan who could be a longer term Chase prospect, tidy rather than attacking fences on Chase debut, with a few more Chase runs can certainly win a small race.

 

The pair i most like at bigger odds though are BITVIEW COLIN who was a runner up last time it took on fences off a mark of 92, had a hurdles spin since then and on a nice Chase mark of 93 with a good 5lbs Claimer adding to the confidence that they are going to be seriously tilting here today. Another who deserves a win is SANIBEL ISLAND, game and consistent, just needs things to drop right and this Course and Distance may well suit off a low weight and compelling mark.

A couple for some shrapnel if you wish in the UK off winning marks at big odds-:

 

Sedgefield 3.20 - SCORPO has won twice over Course and Distance on good ground off marks of 73, runs off 73 today, I think it it had not run just the once this season and been consider fitter it may have been half the price but that mark of 73 has delivered wins before here so a sporting each way shrapnel bet.

 

At Market Rasen in the 2.40 another who has a Course win, indeed it's only ever win and who generally runs better here than anywhere else is L'ES FREMANTLE and it's not beyond the realms of possibility if a few don't perform that it could nick a place at a monster price!
