FFos Llas 2.35
Ffos Llas 2.35 - Handicap Hurdle - Class 4 - 3 miles - Heavy.
This is going to be a dour battle, not a pretty sight and really all about who can get into a rhythm on the day and fancy the pain.
A few might not get home but ones to note for the future, amongst them are Dorran for the Woolacott team, Emmas Dilemna and Oxwich Bay. I think all will struggle with the trip and ones to wait for better going and intermediate distance in the future. The same certainly applies to Tom Laceys horse Stung For Cash who is a 3 mile P2P winner and one who will win races and if it gets a prominent position a big danger here. I can't see the ex Flat horse Darksideoftarnside liking this but a nice prospect too.
March Is On and July Des Buxy have bits of form which make them real dangers if on a going day and wouldn't be a surprise to see either run better and place and you can never totally discount Steel Natibe here either and on another day I could have tipped anyone of those with a bit of confidence, haven't today as I can't see past the favourite and one at incredibly generous Odds.
The favourite is LE TUEUR at about 2/1 it's really a question of value, it looks as close to nailed on as you can get, it's a Bowen horse though and that Yard cannot ever be really trusted but if 2/1 to hose up floats your boat TAKE IT....
The one I can't resist and I think overlooked is the top weight SOME CAN DANCE - a Course winner over 2 miles 5 furlongs in Heavy over fences off 118 , a winner up the steep hill in the Carlisle mud off a mark of 111, has been 8th of 8 and 4th of 4 in last two runs but this is it's bst trip, it's favoured Going and it's bang on that Hurdles win mark. Comes a long way for this and I think the price is too good to ignore.
