A tricky low grade Handicap Chase over just short of 3 miles in soft to heavy Going and 16 declared.

 

The top of the market shows strong chances for Ask Cory and Doran The Legend who along with Enduring Legend arrive in good form. It would be no surprise if they finished 1-2-3 but over this trip and on the Going and with some having penalties, I want to take them on. Have a small Tricast Perm on the 3 though just to cover them off.

 

Of the rest Wake Up Early has a squeak but was recently beaten by AN DROICHEAD GORM over slightly shorter and the way ADG stayed on that day gives it an obvious chance today and enough for a Tracker bet.

 

For the main tip selection though I cannot ignore the excellent Course form of WITNESS OF FASHION who was recently 6th on seasonal debut and will have benefited from  the run, he may still need this but I'm prepared to take a chance on the veteran 13 year old who ran 2nd of 13 off 86 here in February, 4th of 17 off 86 in January and who has a Course win over shorter as recently as November 2017. There seems to be plenty in the tank still and with assured stamina, a love of the venue, and that recent first run, I think great each way value at 16-20/1 for 4 places.
