Handicap Chase 2 miles 7 1/2 furlongs on Heavy Going - 16 run with 3 reserves so enhanced place odds guaranteed.

 

It's hard to look past DORAN THE LEGEND but it does carry 11lbs more for a recent 8 length win so not bomb proof and I'll have a win saver.

 

The second favourite is Wake Up Early, it's a danger but not as proven at the trip or in the going as the favourite and I will by pass it as I think that the race fit LOCH LUATHA who finished runner up to Doran The Legend last time and who gets an 11lbs pull for an 8 length defeat may be the each way value here. It's going to be fit, likes the Going is a 3 mile P2P winner so trip definitely within its range and looks very good each way value to 4 each way places.

 

Of the remainder, WELL TOM looks overpriced on some 2018 form but has disappointed massively of late, a revival at some point can't be ruled out if you fancy a few bob on it, but my TRACKER is the veteran 13 year old WITNESS OF FASHION whose fitness has to be taken on trust but has very good Course and Distance form on Heavy Going, has won off a break of 231 days in the not distant past and may just be one that can "get in a blow" if getting in to a nice rhythm and enjoying himself.
