SEAN (Placespotter) Fairyhouse 3.10 Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 4 furlongs - 21 run - Soft

 

I'm not diving in too deep here but with 21 runners and enhanced places a few seem too much e/w value to ignore.

 

Road To Return has been Chasing and despite a thrown in Hurdle mark may not be an obvious value. Zanndabad for Tony Martin and Hunting Brook on a hat trick for Elliott with an 11 pound penalty may be very big dangers but don't over enthuse me.

 

The likes of West Is Awake who is in the Tracker but just in the grip of the handicapper and Starman and Occifer Hops may run well and nick an enhanced place and if we have a non runner WEST IS AWAKE would be my reserve.

 

I'm going to TRACK both Pictures Of Home and Ballywilliam Boy forwards though, both had runs off a long break but still not tuned up and therefore we can't be 100% what ability remains but both could still be winning decent prizes once fully fit.

 

I'm most keen on COMO PARK for De Bromhead and Rachel. This ex Flat horse got the trip very well last time and really loved to get in to a head bobber to the line and battled to the win, that attitude more than makes up for a 7lbs penalty for me.

 

At big Odds I am very quietly confident that we may soon see some real progress from MIGHTY JEREMY and LEGACY THOR. Mighty Jeremy racked up wins off 80,82 and 90 last season, placed off 102 and will come on tons for a recent run and I don't see a mark of 105 as a ceiling. LEGACY THOR has some solid form off todays mark and is another who needed seasonal debut and will improve further. The early 40/1 plus looks silly to enhanced places!
