Ludlow 3.45
Ludlow 3.45 4 Vinegar Hill - 1/2 point each way @ 9/1 (PP + BV)
A 3 mile handicap hurdle and likely the Course will resemble a ploughed field by this stage of the afternoon.
Likely therefore that proven form in mud and stamina will be big assets and the selection has form to back up the tip on all counts.
The main concern with VINEGAR HILL could be confidence, returned to hurdling after a bad looking fall Chasing last time after a
good win emphasised what a good horse he is, and he is in our trackers, indeed we tipped him fto up at Chepstow in the Autumn.
This is a nice handicap mark and IF he comes here to compete and win, then he has a cracking chance, the slight niggle is that they
might just want a "confidence booster" hence the reduced stakes. Of the rest; GAMAIN is a clear danger after its win here last week;
if that has not taken too much out of it a big chance and PENNYWELL has a strong claim on Point 2 Point form and a nice win in
this type of Going at Uttoxeter and they would be forecast and Tricast perm options if you want to play that option. The likes of
Albarone and Capote bring some old form but we need to see better to get involved and Deauville Crystal and The Sweeney bring
untapped potential at the trip with Jennys Day, but I don't think conditions will be ideal for something running at this trip for the first
time hence VINEGAR HILL is the selection that ticks most boxes here.
