This is going to be a tough test in the mud and we'll start with the Elliott shrapnel bet who is KAYF THOU. Has a sporting chance although not one I'd obviously fancy but around 10/1 I think is some each way value.

 

ASK CORY could be the one to beat for HDB and Rachael Blackmore, up 7lbs though and could just be vulnerable in the conditions. Clongulle Way is another obvious danger, is on a hat trick but again I think conditions might find it out here. Fox Le Bel, who I mentioned when a reserve yesterday is againa  reserve today but less suited to this trip I'd suggest if getting a run. If ENDURING RUN got a run from reserve slot I'd be very interest though, Course winner here forst time up last season, no concerns about the mud or the trip and if tuned up again would be a Tracker bet (with a run).

 

James Boru is fit, has 3 mile P2P background but not sure about the mud, Mick Charlie is another race fit horse, very versatile stamina wise but another who might not want it's feet in as deep as this, and the same applies to Dubai Devils, CD form and is race fit too, again "heavy going" is the niggle. If it's not as heavy as anticipated those 3 would be HUGE dangers so I'll be hoping it's hock deep.

 

The one who I think will most appreciate conditions at a nice each way price is HOWAYA AOIFE whose best runs have been on Heavy Going, including runner up here off a mark of 93, same pilot and although the mark has risen since to 102, I think conditions and ability to handle them are key.
