It may pay to get on early!

 

The market is compromised by 2nd reserve Routine Excellent who is odds on but who may not get in. It won impressively at the weekend and a few who ran the previous weekend may drop out but if we get on early and take a price and it does drop out we still have the built in value.

 

Of the others near the head of the market, Echos of Family is very consistent and likes the track but if the reserve comes out its price will be too short to be of interest as it may need further. Enduring lOve who did us a few favours with nice wins for its former Trainer will be a big danger but is another whose best runs have been over slightly further. 

 

BE MY DREAM was a distant runner up at Punchestown 9 days ago with Capture The Drama; Highstreetfashion and SANIBEL ISLAND in behind. The ones in behind all get a few pounds but it's BE MY DREAM and SANIBEL ISLAND who I prefer today.

 

Be My Dream looks ideally suited by conditions today and SANIBEL ISLAND was going very well until a jumping error just knocked it back, it was noticeably eased after that and with Gavin Brouder claiming 5lbs off a nice mark of 74 and with it being fitter for that run off a previous 60+ day break I really think it can be in enhanced place contention at least.

 

Highstreetfashionlooks a tricky ride to me although it does have scope and if they can tighten the jumping up it can pick up a small race and Capture The Drama still a sprightly veteran may need a bit further than this for optimum chances. Mr Bercow who has proven better over Hurdles than fences so far also looks a potential danger and the adding of a visor may perk up its jumping.

 

At bigger odds it would be no surprise to see veterans Ice Cool and WEE SMALL HOURS out run their Odds and WEE SMALL HOURS who has some decent Chasing form off marks in the low 80's is fit from hurdling including a good run on its penultimate start and could nick some profit off a mark of 76 with a decent 7lbs claimer up.
