I think ASK MARY is the one to beat here so recommend a win saver or each way banker to cover other bets at your discretion. I think handicapper and conditions might see end of Tricky Trix winning run.
There are many who are simply unproven at the trip in these conditions so could be a race with some hidden value.
Of the Elliott team, clearly Hereditary Rule has the best form and is a 3 mile P2P winner but seems better of better Going and for that reason I will leave him out of deliberations. Always a dangerous strategy but of his team I will have my £1 Eliott shrapnel bet on DESSIE DESCHAMPS who is another from the P2P fields who may prefer this more than Imperial Allure.
Corbally Boy is a danger to all and could be on a very lenient mark and one to follow I think and another danger is Frankly All Talk who runs off a very lenient Hurdle mark but I think this is a prep for Chase runs later and certainly one to follow through the winter over the bigger obstacles, especially here.
I think therefore that the best e/w value at nice odds may lie with OWL CREEK BRIDGE a 3 mile P2P winner in the past, will have come of for seasonal debut run and one who should be staying on right to the line and nick a place at least in the process. The same logic applied to DEPUTYS PASS who was a 3 mile winner in Heavy Going back in 2017 off a mark of 110. Has not really followed that up but have checked and watch a race here last year over Course and Distance where he was going very well when unseating, one who just needs a bit of luck in running and a clear round and if getting it, will finish in front of more than beat it.
