Sean - Punchestown 3.20 Handicap Hurdle - 3 miles and 1/2 furlong - Heavy - 22 run

 

I think a win saver on WALKING THE WALK is advisable as its far more confidently expected to win this than the likes of Follow The Crowd and Dr Val also near the top of the market, the former reverts from Chasing but had poor overall Hurdles form and the latter whilst runner up twice in the last 3 runs, struggled with this Course in the interim run and not for the first time didn't show a liking for this Track.

 

MAHLER APPEAL is in the Tracker and has been knocking at the door and has no excuses not to again be bang in contention. Captain Jimmy is another who has been Chasing who reverts to Hurdles with a query as to whether he can transfer promise in one code to the other. I'd worry about the trip and  top weight for Aide de Camp, SEANGOELL was an excellent runner up at a big price for us recently at shorter but likes Heavy Going and seems to get 3 miles well enough. Journey West is in the Tracker too but best on better summer type ground. Holiday In Kerry who has fallen over fences the last twice but could run well over hurdles although the mark doesn't seem that great when compared to previous Hurdle form.

 

At bigger odds I'd be confident that ROYAL RHYTHM whose best runs at in this Going and who has a 3 mile Galway win off a mark of 83 and SULAFAAT whose standout run is also at galway when finishing 3rd of 20 off mark of 80 in similar conditions, are both well capable of outrunning Odds and competing for the enhanced places
