It rarely gets really deep and horrible ground here and there should be no excuses for anything that is suited by Soft winter ground not to run its race.

 

Exciting Oscar and Johngus are worthy market leaders and EXCITING OSCAR in particular would represent win value at around 7/2 to 4/1 if you wanted to take that option.

 

A few have some interesting P2P form including Three Loud Knocks and at a very big price CORBALLY BOY and I'll have a couple of Euros each way on JJ Hanlons horse at the price.

 

Lady McCabe is best on Heavy Going at a bit shorter than this but may get the trip round here and outrun Odds, Baikito has no form at the trip or in this Going but Trainer Barry Connell is 2-2 recently so the horses are clearly healthy and Kristian Goingwel is surely one to track onwards as it hit some good form at the back end of 2020 and won off 90 - 98 -100, is very slowly coming down the handicap scale but still a little high for me off 107 with its best form at a bit shorter, one that I'm sure can pick up a race off a mark of around 100 though.

 

My selections are PRESENTING POINT a runner up off 97 here before Christmas on good ground who has good P2P form and who has won on heavy Going as a younger horse so no excuses today, CLASSIC CONCORDE who is back Chasing after a hurdle run and who has got placed form off marks of 109 and 110 at the trip in soft and who gets an excellent 7lbs Claimer off a mark of 105 today. I can;t leave out FOUR COUNTRY ROADS who was runner up when tipped at 25/1 last time off a basement mark, it gets 6lbs for that and rates below the 2 main selections but is one I've been keeping an eye on and a horse who I think can be a 90-100 rated Chaser next season.
