Sunday 13th November

SEAN - NAVAN 12.15 Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 6 furlongs - Yielding - 22 run

A big field and this is one of the toughest TRacks in Ireland, a lovely galloping track with a long uphill run to the line , so we're looking for some proven or latent stamina.

MAXXUM is a hot favourite but that moves the market and offers some value elsewhere. If you want to back it to win at 2/1 or lower I'd not put you off but we are certainly looking for some each way value and the enhanced places and its by no means bomb-proof.

Krabat has a solid each way chance but at the prices I think the each way banker is Tony Martins NATHANIELDS DREAM. It will have benefitted from a recent Flat run and the trip and handicap mark give it a very good chance here to take on the favourite.

At the big priced end of the market I think that a few need TRACKING forwards and we'll do that with the likes of Presenting Meghan, whose form has declined but whose handicap mark becomes more attractive, Simply Shabra, who needs some handicap experience but whose novice form shows some promise, Rockayne, who has some good P2P from and glimmers over Novice Hurdles that it can win races and What Ua Doin who was progressing well before a 531 day break. I think all of those can be winning races this season, hopefully not today though.

Both TURBOJET, who has run well in similar contests on occasions in the past and who could have a nice mark to exploit here and BENTHAM who gets this trip well and will enjoy the Course and who is another who looks very well handicapped could easily outrun their prices and i will suggest shrapnel bets on both to enhanced places.

Of the remainder, Enjoy D'Allen looks to be on a fitness run but clearly has the Class to wallop these if tuned up, and it's hard to completely leave out Routine Excellence who may just need the run off a 210 day break.

Both SILVERTOWN + SIBERIAN STAR though are in the Tracker System and after close examination both would appear to have excellent each way chances here. SILVERTOWN is back over Hurdles but has a Course win and looks well placed by Gavin Cromwell and SIBERIAN STAR who was a runner up last time at a nice price and has race fitness should appreciate the intermediate trip and will love the conditions and remains on a very nice handicap mark.

TIP - Nathanials Dream / TRACKERS - Siberian Star + Silvertown . (shrapnel or small e/w on Turbojet + Bentham)

SEAN - Cheltenham 2.55 GREATWOOD Hurdle - 2 miles and 1/2 Furlong - Class 1 - 14 run - Going Good

A few non runners already in this and on the Card due to the Good and drying ground.

Of the Irish horses I'd much prefer DADS LAD for Willie and at about 5/1 will have an each way bet on that.

In the conditions too I just prefer SEVERANCE over Nina The Terrier but if they go at a stupid pace, which they could on this ground then it may be worth a small play "in running" on NINA THE TERRIER who has the ability to stay on up the hill.

TRACKER - Dads Lad / shrapnel - Severance (in-running Nina The Terrier)
