SEAN - Thurles 12.15 Handicap Chase - 3 miles 1 furlong - 15 run - Yielding to Soft 

 

Leish Oscars Son heads the market, is upped in trip, carries a penalty but not bad value around 10/3 so a small saver if you wish but not for me today.

 

TULLYHOGUE FORT and BALDURS GATE both appeal to me more and have some e/w scope and value, TULLYHOGUE FORT is a grand dual purpose winter horse who is only a few pounds above it's last Chase winning mark and BALDURS GATE was impressive at punchestown last time, a very decent 3 mile P2P jockey keeps the rise and i don't think the 8lbs rise is excessive.

 

Of the rest, Fill The Tank is better; I always think over Hurdles, Toofareastiswest ran better last time but I am not totally convinced stamina will hold out over an extended 3 miles here. Made In Woods is a horse who likes to run from the front, has had one run and usually needs two or three, I think it'll take them a long way into this race and I'm adding to the TRACKER as I can see it winning early in the New Year.

 

For some shrapnel to enhanced places in preference order I can;t ignore the Course record of LIZRONA, top weight here but should be razor sharp now fitness wise after 4 runs and with the claim is below last winning Course handicap mark. If you want a quid each way on one at 25/1 then have a look at LADY KATE who has plenty of 3 miles P2P experience, a late graduate in some ways to Rules and first time under Rules she has upped to her P2P trip, could stay on and nick some enhanced place shrapnel especially IF Made In Woods gets some of the others out of their comfort zone s early in the race.
