SEAN - THURLES 2.30 Handicap Hurdle 18 run (3 reserves also) 2 1/2 miles

 

I narrowed this down to a couple, one who may benefit from a drop in trip and one who may benefit stepping back up in trip as a relatively unexposed Tracker.

 

The tip is the consistent LIKE EVERY DAY who probably found 3 miles too far last time, the horse is fit, solid and will handle the ground and runs off a competitive mark and will be very disappointing it not in the first 4-5 home here at nice e/w odds.

 

The unexposed Tracker (1/2 normal e/w odds) is MINELLA UNITED for the De Bromhead + Blackmore combination. I don't think they have yet found the right trip with this former 3 mile P2P horse, clearly 2 miles not far enough last time and they seem reluctant at this stage to go 3 miles, a decent pace at this trip should suit, certainly track it onwards for any run in a big field on a tough track over 2 1/2 miles or more. personally I think its crying out for 2 miles and 6 furlongs.

IAN - Wincanton 1.45 Handicap Hurdle Class 3 2 and a half miles Good to Soft.

 

A competitive race but I can't resist an each way bet at decent Odds considering connections on the Nicholls handicap debutant STORM ARISING, the horse has done nothing wrong, looks decent, Nicholls would surely have had numerous options and tactically in terms of e/w betting the early price looks very generous.
