Sean / Placespotter - Tipperary 3.05 - 2 miles 7 furlongs - 18 run - Good to Yielding - some rain about 

 

A competitive field as you'd expect and I narrowed in down to round about half a dozen.

 

Of the remainder, I have trip concerns about Midnight it Is, Arverne may just need this run but I have added to the TRACKER, Rebel Waltz is capable on going days but they are few and far between. Shantou Sisu is probably beyond optimum trip at this distance and there are a number who I'm sure will try to make it a truly run race, Bearwithmenow has place form over Course and Distance but probably needs between 5 and 7lbs off the handicapper to become competitive once again but worth watching as and when it does. Shanroe AC had very decent form prior to a crashing fall when really building up a nice sequence a few years back and after an 18 month break returns off a further 3 month break so probably best watched.

 

Esthers Marvel and Sean Says are both in the TRACKER, I think Esthers Marvel is probably better over Hurdles and Sean Says has a solid chance but in the final analysis I just fancied a few a bit more on the day, both could run a place though at best. 

 

I narrowly left out Enemi Public who has shown a few signs that this may be an ideal trip on a suitable Course and Room To Roam who has often run at shorter but has some efforts at 2 miles 6 furlongs and 3 miles that again suggest this trip is worth a go at and both rate real dangers at nice odds.

 

With 18 runners and enhanced places , my 4 against the field in order of preference are KING FERDINAND who is in good form and absolutely no excuses for not winning this, similar thoughts really about MEEHALL and it's very hard to split those pair on current form. If one is most likely to improve a bit and pip them to the winning Post it could well be LAKE CHAD for whom this is an ideal trip,and rain would also be a bonus on a Course that can get "soft" quite quickly and I'll be very disappointed if we aren't in the first 4-5 home. At bigger Odds IF you want some shrapnel to enhanced 5th place , then SECRET CARGO just got the nod, its won off marks of 98 and 102, it seems to be slowly returning to form and definitely peak race fitness and off a mark of 105 with a 4lbs Claimer actually looks cracking enhanced e/w place value at around 20/1.
